JavaScript Full-Stack developer (employee or freelance)

Lopos is looking for a JavaScript Full-Stack developer to help design, build and grow our SaaS platform.


You will be the bridge between our digital agency and will be able to take the lead in a short timeframe. You’re not in this alone, you will get both guidance from Lopos and our digital agency.


  • Most important: motivation & “doer”- mindset
  • You have experience in developing web and database-driven applications
  • Wide technology stack with an affinity for both front-end and back-end javascript-based technologies like React, Angular 2+, NodeJS, …
  • You know about MySQL and noSQL databases
  • You can show ownership of a product or feature
  • You are able to write clean, maintainable, performant, and testable code
  • Solid experience with Agile/Scrum and true team mindset
  • An analytical mind that can easily rank priorities

Lopos uses the following tech-stack. Knowledge is a plus not a must:

  • Tools: AWS, Serverless, Auth0, Docker, Bitbucket
  • Tech: NodeJS, NPM, Sequelize, Jest, Swagger, Angular, MySQL

What does Lopos do?

Lopos is a Belgian start-up and spin-off of imec, UGent and the research group IDLab. We developed a proximity warning solution to reduce forklift incidents (based on UWB). Next to this we are building a dashboard (SaaS) to provide clients with actionable insights to improve safety.More about Lopos
